In July 2026, Eng. Margaret Saroufim, Deputy Minister of Social Solidarity, visited Minya governorate with Governor Emad Kadwani to follow the rural development programme run by the Ministry with FAO and funded by the Government of Norway.

During the Farmer Field Schools graduation, Dr Abdulhakim Elwaer, FAO Regional Representative for the Near East and North Africa, praised the programme’s innovative initiatives — naming SheGrows AI, which uses artificial intelligence to bring agricultural advice to rural women.

KI-Q is proud to have been the technology provider behind SheGrows AI, working alongside FAO from design to field testing.
